Watching Lamu Island from the Destiny is a day of enjoying.
We go around the island. One part we are sailing in the canals between the Islands. One part we are sailing in open sea.
During the trip there is the possibility of throwing out a fishing line on the local way, snorkelling or swimming. We visit Matandoni, a dhow builders village to the north coast of Lamu. We moor in Kipungani, lain in a splendid lagoon. Here you can enjoy the view and a tradition lunch.
If we are in open sea and the wind might be very strong, than you will notice that there is a lot of work for the crew on board. For the really sport sailors: You want to help? Go for it.
Everything is allowed, nothing is a must!
