The Takwa settlement is situated on the south side of Manda Island. They are the ruins of a Muslim town which was abandoned around
the 18th century.
To reach Takwa, the dhow is sailing through the gorgeous canals.
The bank of the canals is grown over with mangrove. If the canal becomes to shallow for the dhow, (depends the current) we shall continue our trip with a small boat till we reach Takwa.
Costs:
Minimum 2 persons (€ 40 p.p.)
Each additional person, per booking: € 35

Children between 6 and 12 years: € 15
